This week is the children's first full week at school and we have no doubt they will be very tired by Friday but will have had an amazing first week at school. 

Wednesday come to school in PE kit

Thursday come to school in forest school clothes. These need to be trousers/leggings and long sleeved tops that you don't mind the children getting muddy in. If you could also send the children in with wet weather gear such as puddle suits, waterproof trousers and jackets and wellies. We try to go out to forest school rain or shine. 

This week we will be spending lots of time getting to know each other and playing. The children will all get a chance to share their treasure boxes with the class. 

We will be reading rhyming books and playing some rhyming games and listening to different sounds in the environment. 

We will do some singing each day and we will meet Marco and his guitar on Wednesday.

We will ride scooters and balance bikes outside as well as play some PE games on Wednesday afternoon. 

At the end of the week the children will bring home a rhyming book from our book corner for you to read to them. 

We will update Class Dojo throughout the week with photos and messages. 

We will also be announcing the date for our Beech class phonics meeting.
