Swimming will be on Monday.

Tuesday and Thursday are PE days.

Literacy - This week we will be using the book 'How rabbit stole the fire'. We will be writing a fire safety message and considering the risks and safety around fire. We will be describing the character of rabbit, sequencing the story using pictures, retelling the story in full sentences.

Phonics - Year 2 will be writing words with the phonemes oo, ar, or, ur, ow, oi, er, ure, ear, air and looking at words.

Year 1 will continuing to revisit the phase 4 sounds. 

Maths - Year 2 will be flexibly partitioning numbers to 100 using tens and ones and part whole grids and then writing it out as e.g. 54= 50 +4, 54= 40 + 14. We will be putting 10's on a number line and then 10's and 1's on a number line.

Year 1 will be counting backwards, finding 1 less, comparing groups of numbers by matching, fewer, more and the same of different amounts and greater than, less than and equal to. 

Science - Year 1 will be exploring sight. Year 2 will be finding out about fish and amphibians.

History - We will be finding out about London in the past and the past through pictures. We will be locating London a a map.

Art - We will be creating snail drawings where we will continue to explore our spirals.

PSHE - We will be noticing and seeing how to manage distractions. Considering whether they are helpful or not.
