Welcome back to the Spring Term! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas.

 

This week in Cedar class, the children will...

Learn how to convert between different units of metric measurements.

Explore how light travels and test their theories.

Devise and plan a piece of 'Free Writing' and, later in the week, write it!

Investigate the differing methods of transport  used in our local area from the last 200 years. 

Listen to the opening chapter of 'Wolf Brother' by Michelle Paver.

Begin to think about how artists represent their own identity in their work. 

 

As a follow-up to our Poetry Workshop with the Arts Society, some of the children in Cedar can be heard performing their poems on the Arts Society website (scroll down to Fittleworth School): Soundscapes
